Press Release: World Aids Day Concert

PRETORIA - The World Aids Day Concert may be new, however it is fast becoming the talk of the golden province of Gauteng due to its unique agenda to drive towards zero new HIV infections. The event, set to take place annually on the 1^st of December will see it’s first instalment at the prestigious Freedom Park which is located on the 52-hectare site on Salvokop in Pretoria.

The festival, founded by Music Central Africa will fittingly feature two stages, Gospel between 12 noon and 6pm as well as the Urban stage from 6pm till midnight. An AIDS park manned by the HIV AIDS experts LoveLife will also be running throughout the day with dialogues on the disease, HIV Aids testing and counselling.  

The Gospel stage line-up will include the platinum selling and award winning songstress Swazi, Putuma Tiso, Godwin Omighale, Sabata, Lombard Matshinge, Verona Pillay and the all-star outfit, Family of Praise. The Urban stage will boast with performances by Malumz on Decks, Siphokazi, Femi Koya, Cruz Afrika, Mawat, and re-introducing the legend Marah Louw performing unheard new Jazz and Afro-Pop singles.
